Smart Banking Way Forward Luncheon, organized by the Smart City Consortium (SCC), sponsored by Certizen Limited supported by Asia PKI Consortium, was successfully held at Hong Kong on July 17, 2018.
SCC has collaboratively gather professionals from banking, business, legal IT sectors for a way forward is organizing this event aim at facilitating dialogues discussions between future stakeholders of this initiatives, including regulators participating organizations.
Mr. Norman T.L. Chan, GBS, JP, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Mr. Neil Pabari, Managing Director of North Asia, Finance & Risk of Thomson Reuters, Mr. William Gee, Vice Chairman of Asia PKI Consortium, Professor Christopher Chao, Dean of Engineering Chair Professor of Mechanical Engineering of The University of Hong Kong, are invited to share with guests Smart Banking with objectives including but not limited to:
· Explore the application of Smart Banking, focusing on its integration with the proposed KYC Utility;
· Examine the business and operational expectations from stakeholders, such as alignment with the Open API initiative; and
· Share insights of business expansion of Smart Banking and any other prospective items.
