At the meeting, Beijing and Hong Kong signed a MOU "China-Hong Kong Electronic Identity Interconnection Strategic Framework Agreement", aiming to use the technology and application advantages of the signing parties to establish a mutual recognition system between China and Hong Kong based on the relevant laws of the two places to promote the interconnection of electronic identity authentication.
