Organized by Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) and China Science Technology Exchange Center (CSTEC), as well as supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Innovation and Technology Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Innotech Expo 2018 Seminar was successfully launched on 24 September 2018.The Seminar series lasted 7 days and was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Mr Man Ho, General Manager of Certizen Limited and Representative of the eID Committee of the Smart City Consortium, was invited to give speech in one of the seminars.

Speech topic is "Electronic Identity (eID) for Smart People in Smart City”. Around 400 participants from the industry, youths and students attended the seminar and discussed the development of eID in Hong Kong. Mr Ho shared with audience what eID is, its development in Hong Kong, China and other countries, as well as benefits associated with using eID. Several economists from the HKTDC Research Department came up to Mr Ho and exchange info and idea about the eID development when seminar came to an end.
