Initiated by the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, Forum with Deng Wei, Vice-President of the United Front Department of the Ningxia Autonomous Region and Director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Offices was successfully held in Hong Kong on 2 January 2019. Wang Yang, Director of the Exchange Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Offices in Ningxia, Yang Yongliang, Researcher of Economic Department of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Office, Ningxia, Wu Chao, Director of the Exchange Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Offices in Ningxia attended with Director Deng. Ms Eva Chan, Founder and CEO of Certizen Limited participated on behalf of commerce industry of Hong Kong. At the forum, Ningxia introduced key industrial foundation and the direction for transformation as well as upgrading, including cloud computing, big data services and business services. Both delegations also discussed how to apply mutual recognised e-certificate to cross-border trade and enhance Ningxia’s position as a strategic partner of Hong Kong.
